For those of you interested in history and culture, a visit to the Bard Fortress and the Museum of the Alps is a must. Near to Chatillon Castle there is Verrès and Fénis Castle, whilst 30 minutes away you can reach the medieval castles of Sarre, Saint-Pierre and Aymavilles. On the facing side of the valley is the village of St Barthelemy, where you can spend an unforgettable night star gazing at the most important astronomical observatory in the Aosta Valley

Where we are?

The "Lo Bré" B & B in Pontey (Val D'Aosta) is located close to all the main places of interest in the Aosta Valley; less than a kilometre away you'll find a rock climbing training wall for inexperienced adults and children, and also in the vicinity there is a mountain bike track. A short distance away you'll reach the famous Casino and Spa in St Vincent. Plus you can also make a trip to Cervinia and see the Matterhorn, its glacier and never-ending ski run! If you decide to travel to the west of the Valley you can visit the city of Aosta and its Roman remains. In only 20 minutes by cable car from Aosta you can reach Pila, one of the largest districts in the Aosta Valley. From there you'll have fantastic panoramic views of the 'Gran Paradiso', 'Mont Blanc' and the 'Matterhorn'.
